Sciatica/Nerve Pain - Sciatica is a condition that occurs when the large sciatic nerve, which runs throughout the lower back, is compressed. This, in turn, leads to sharp, shooting pain in the lower back (and sometimes the legs or thighs), as well as tingling/numbness and even muscle weakness. This condition is often triggered by poor alignment of the spine and/or a compressed spine.

Degenerative Disc Disease - This painful disease is characterized by flattened and dehydrated discs between the vertebrae. Normally, these discs are designed to help cushion the space between each vertebra, but with degenerative disc disease, there is less cushion and severe pain throughout the back and lower back can result.

Herniated or Bulging Discs - Another possible disc condition results from a compressed spine, which can force the discs out of place. When this happens, the discs can press up against nearby nerves and cause severe pain and muscle weakness.

Spinal Injuries and Other Conditions - Sometimes, your symptoms can be traced back to a specific injury that occurred to your spines, such as a car accident, workplace accident, or sporting injury. We can treat a number of common injuries resulting from these types of trauma, including whiplash, strains, and similar conditions.

Persistent Neck and Back Pain - In cases where your pain cannot be immediately explained by a specific incident or injury, we may need to explore other possible causes. For instance, chronic neck and back pain (as well as migraines/headaches) can be caused by poor posture and poor spinal alignment, which occurs gradually over time.
